For the first two days we hung out at the resort and by the pool....The spa was so HOT, (hot tub was an understatement)... Mike loved it.
We went downtown to The Gas Lamp District....We had to do some shopping at Horton Plaza... it has 5 levels, every woman's dream... I loved all the old buildings and the CRAZY street people, it was very entertaining. Mike and I are still laughing at what we got to witness on the streets!!!!
We had the BEST Mexican food ever at "Fred's" we need one in Arizona....It was SO YUMMY!!!!!
Today we went to the beautiful town of La Jolla and spent time at the beach... The weather was so nice,to nice.... I spent to much time in the sun and got a sunburn.....OUCH!!
We had such a nice time together.... it was much needed!!!

ReplyDeleteConi Wright's parents lived in Rancho Bernardo, so we went there with them one time when we were in San Diego on a Manager's week-end, it is a beautiful town. So nice to get away and just Relax, only I thought Mike's vacation time was up??? I think maybe you guys just don't want to go to Florida again!!!!Don't worry my feelings aren't hurt to bad!!!!I also love La Jolla, only everytime we were their it was freezing, that is why I like the Atlantic/Gulf better!!!!

ReplyDeleteI am JEALOUS! I love San Diego! Jason and I usually go every year, but last year I was pregnant and this year we are planning a few camping trips, so hopefully next year! I miss it....Looks like you two LoveBirds had a good time.
