SPRING IS IN THE AIR.......

Today I was with Telsea and Landon, my normal day to watch them would be a Friday, but I had some changes in my work schedule this week. So Grandma Julie was willing to switch days with me......
A couple of weeks back Telsea and I went to Target and got her very own water bucket, pots with soil and flowers seeds....she wanted to plant and grow her own flowers...She had fun getting her fingers dirty in the soil planting the flower seeds....

Now it was time to wait for them to start poking their little plant heads through the soil.... she was so excited.....

Sure enough they have started poking through the soil.... Telsea is AMAZED with the whole process.....

Then it was time to go play in the leaves and pick some yummy fruit.....
The weather was perfect today in beautiful Arizona.....

He couldn't wait for Gigi to peel it for him............. YUMMY!!!

He found a grapefruit low enough.....two hands, up on his tip toes and stretching with everything in himself....he got!!!

Picking...picking...picking.....

We were so sticky from the orange juice running down our fingers onto our arms and elbows.... They are the BEST oranges I have had in a long time......they remind me of when I was a kid back at home with the oranges off my tree's from my back yard!!!
What's the old saying "An orange a day keeps the doctor away"
and that is just what we did......
