For those of you that don't know my sister Trena or her story, I will make it short. My sister was 27 yrs old with 3 small children and was diagnosed with the big "C" word.... Cancer and it was in her breast. She had to have her right breast removed, go through chemo and loosing her hair. She was so strong , never taking her eyes off of Jesus and had all her trust in him. It was a rough road, she came through and has been cancer free for almost 20 yrs. Last week I get a call from her, letting me know that she will be going in to have her second mastectomy. They had found a couple area's that looked suspicious. I got a big lump in my throat, my first thought was.......... NO!!! This is not FAIR!!
You see, Trena found out back in December that she was going to be a Grandma for the first time this coming August, and like any first time Grandma she is so excited. That night I hit my knees praying for GOD's healing touch. Trena had her surgery on Tuesday, came through great, has been in pain, but God has given her the Grace to get through it. I spoke with her today to see if they got any result back ..... They came back negative, NO CANCER!!!
