Today has been a day of much sadness.....
A very close friend of mine, lost her brother in a tragic accident today.
Life is SO precious..... when something like this happens it seems so ridiculous to let the small things keep us from our family and friends......you never know when it will be the last day to say " I love You" to the ones we love!!
It's time to examine our lives, our relationship with our love ones, friend and most of all our relationship with Our Lord Jesus!!!
Please keep my dear friend Kim and her family in your prayers!!
I love you Kim..... I am here for you!!
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.
- Psalm 18:2

You are so right Chris! My second cousin died 11 days before Christmas in 2008. Ryleigh wasn't even 2 months old. She was helping a car accident victim on the freeway when a drunk driver hit her car which killed her instantly. (Google Kaydee Campbell - the story will give you chills and make you believe whole heartedly in God's presence around us.) It made me realize that I always need to tell my loved ones I love them and never take one moment with them for granted. Because when you're a teenager/early twenty you think you have forever to live, or will tell the person how special they are next time you see them. Unfortunately, we don't always get that opportunity. I am so sorry for you friend's loss (I read the obituary. He sounds like a wonderful good man). I will be praying your friend finds strength during these dark days ahead.
ReplyDeleteSo sad, what a waste of a life..... God knows the bigger picture. we have to trust in that.
